. . . to Dr. Michael Oren, the newly appointed Israeli Ambassador to the United States, who is a product of a Conservative Jewish upbringing in New Jersey.

. . . to Ariel Blufstein, the newly appointed Executive Director of Masorti AMLAT (Latin America). Blufstein, currently the Executive Director of the Federation of Conservative Communities in Argentina (FEDECC), succeeds Isabel Burstein in the Masorti AMLAT position.

. . . to Rabbi Leonardo A. Bitran on his appointment as the new Vice-Chancellor for Rabbinic and Academic Afffairs at the Seminario Rabinico Latinoamericano "Marshall T. Meyer". Bitran, a native of Chile, began his rabbinical training at the Seminario before transferring to the Jewish Theological Seminary where he was ordained in 1992. Since 2003, he has served as rabbi of Agudas Achim Congregation in San Antonio, Texas. For more information about the Masorti educational center in South America, go to www.seminariorabinico.org.ar.

. . . to Kehilat Hod ve-Hadar, the Masorti congregation in Kfar Saba, Israel, on its 30th anniversary. Hod ve-Hadar was the first Masorti congregation founded in Israel's Sharon region. For more information about the congregation, go to www.hodvehadar.org.
