mazaltov . . . to MERCAZ USA President Dr. Stephen Wolnek on his appointment as Co-Chair of the World Zionist Organization's Budget and Finance Committee;

. . . to Yizhar Hess on his appointment as Director-General of the Masorti Movement in Israel;

. . . to MERCAZ Olami representatives Drs. Alon Tal and Eilon Schwartz on their re-election to the Keren Kayemet LeYisrael Board of Directors, as well as to first-time MERCAZ delegate Orr Karassin.

Dr. Tal was also appointed Co-Chair of the KKL's Land Development Authority which is responsible for forestry, river restoration, reservoirs and land draining, while Dr. Schwartz, who was recently featured in the lead story "How Green Was My City" in the March 5th issue of The Jerusalem Report, will be chairing in rotation the KKL Education Committee.
