AZM Song Competition

The American Zionist Movement announces the opening of registration for the fifth American Zionist Song Competition, "Zemer Lach."

Co-sponsored by El Al Israel Airlines and the Coalition for the Advancement of Jewish Education (CAJE), "Zemer Lach" offers prizes to amateur and professional songwriters, with the top prize in both categories a round trip to Israel.

Entries, due by June 15th, should be previously unpublished and unrecorded compositions, two to four minutes in length, that celebrate Zionism and Israel. Finalists will perform their songs at the CAJE 25 Conference, at Hofstra University this coming August.
