News Around The Conservative Masorti / World

Masorti Olami/World Council of Conservative Synagogues has established a new website, www.masortiworld.com. The new site includes information about Masorti congregations around the world, along with a list of planned missions to Europe and South America for 2002-2003.

The Masorti Foundation has announced its first Masorti Women's Mission to Israel, October 2-9, 2002. For more information, contact Joan Kemeny Paru, 212-870-1006, jkparu@masorti.com. Later in October, the Rabbinical Assembly will be hosting a study mission to Israel for rabbis and laypeople, October 27th to November 1st. The United Synagogue's Conservative Yeshiva in Jerusalem has opened a new yearlong study track for high school graduates looking for intensive Jewish learning prior to starting university.
