• To Rabbi Joseph Wernik, Chairman of the Masorti Movement, who has been engaged as the first Executive Director of Masorti Olami and MERCAZ Olami, jointly. Masorti Olami is the new name of the World Council of Conservative Synagogues, while MERCAZ Olami is the international association of Conservative Zionist groups with chapters in Argentina, Brazil, Canada, England, France, Hungary, Israel and, of course, the United States.
  
  
• To Dr. David Breakstone, formerly Director of Ramah Programs in Israel, who has been elected to the Executive of the World Zionist Organization and Jewish Agency for Israel as Head of the WZO Department of Zionist Activities in the Diaspora.
  
  
• To Rabbi Daniel Allen, on his appointment as the President of the Foundation for Masorti Judaism. Rabbi Allen, former Executive Vice-Chairman of the United Israel Appeal, succeeds James Demb as the top professional of the fundraising arm for the Masorti Movement in Israel and throughout the world.
